Elizabeth Friesen, MD

Elizabeth Friesen, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002 and completed Internal Medicine Residency at UNMC in 2005. She had over 15 years of experience practicing Hospital Medicine before joining Inpatient Physician Associates in 2020. Dr. Friesen currently serves as the Department Chair of Internal Medicine.                              

Dr. Friesen is from Omaha, NE. She is married to her husband, José, and has three stepsons, Dominic, Jack, and Max, and a sweet, sassy Scottie puppy, Millie. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, walking, biking, yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
