Brian Gallagher, MD
Brian Gallagher, MD, was born in Oak Park, IL, but spent most of his life in Plymouth, MN located just west of Minneapolis. He completed his undergraduate degree at St. Olaf College, in Northfield, MN with a Bachelor or Science in Biology and Russian Area Studies. He went on to complete his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL, and residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He completed an additional chief year of residency before moving with his wife, Allison, to Lincoln, NE, where she took a position at UNL as a Post-doctoral Researcher in behavioral ecology and he joined Inpatient Physician Associates. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gallagher enjoys bouldering and backpacking with his wife, is a science-fiction junky, and can occasionally be convinced to go for a run. He loves both mammals and reptiles and has seven pets, including two cats, two turtles, a green iguana, a leopard gecko, and a ball python.
