Emalie Petersen, APRN

Emalie Petersen, DNP, APRN, completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in Omaha. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Creighton University in Omaha. Emalie joined Inpatient Physician Associates in 2022 and enjoys working with their caring group of people who make her feel like family. She enjoys the fast-paced and constantly-changing environment that hospital medicine offers, and working at IPA allows her the opportunity to work with a dedicated team that collaborates to find the best treatment options when caring for patients who are acutely ill. 

Emalie grew up in Axtell, Nebraska. She and wife Jayme have two children and two dogs. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and friends outdoors or at sporting events. She enjoys entertaining at home, doing yard work, and hunting and fishing. Emalie volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lincoln and Clinic with a Heart, and serves as an EMT in Hickman, Nebraska.
