Inpatient Physician Associates provides hospitalist care to patients at Bryan Medical Center located in Lincoln, Nebraska; Columbus Community Hospital located in Columbus, Nebraska; and Great Plains Regional Medical Center located in North Platte, Nebraska.

One doctor from the group is in charge of your care. This means you have the benefit of being seen by a board certified or board eligible internal medicine physician whose practice is entirely focused on the care of hospitalized patients.

A hospitalist is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to changes in your condition that need immediate attention and to answer any questions you or your family may have.

As leaders of healthcare teams, hospitalists work with your primary care doctor, surgeons, specialists, nurses, radiologists, therapists, pharmacists and others involved in your care.

The hospitalist gives your primary care doctor updates on any changes in your condition during your hospitalization. The hospitalist makes dismissal arrangements for you including prescribing your take home medications. When you leave the medical center, your hospitalist calls your doctor and sends a summary report of your care. Your primary care doctor provides your follow-up care after you go home.
